Dune Records is a recording label based in the 5th dimension. It was started by Cranjis Mcbasketball, and has been operated by him since its inception. The studio has been used by many famous astral artists.
Due to the temporal warping caused by much of the label's music, Dune Records has no creation date. The label is atemporal, which has caused much controversy in its "past".
Sometime (or a lack there of) in what seems like the past, Dune signed his first contract with The Cooked Legumes Hound. The deal would give the record label unprecedented amounts of attention, and in the wake of the event, many artists went to the label to create contracts.
In [N/A], Mcbastketball issued a statement detailing his grievances with the Mojave Accords. The statement caused many of his artists to prematurely (whatever that may mean) end their contracts with him and sign a petition to boycott his music. After nearly [N/A], Mcbastketball issued an apology for his statement, and later expressed gratitude over the accords for "bringing good energy to the astrals."
The studio has come under fire many times (for its atemporal nature. In [N/A], the Mothers Against Dimensional Anomalies organization created a petition that urged astral beings to stop listening to the label's signed artists, sighting that the studio's music's rampant use of atemporal time signature and quantum mechanical editing. The petition gained over 50,000 signatures on Spacebook. In response, Regent the Cooked Legumes Hound made a statement criticizing the petition.
"This petition shows us the disgusting legacy of timism. They have no idea of the positive impact that atemporal music has had over astral culture. I'm appalled."
